Now Hiring Library Director

Are you a visionary leader passionate about community engagement and library services? The Ripon Public Library is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Library Director to shape our library’s future. In this role, you'll drive innovation by expanding and enhancing our services to meet the evolving needs of our vibrant community. You will inspire and manage a talented team, oversee the library’s budget, capital projects, and facilities, and represent the library at key community events, building strong local partnerships. If you hold a Master of Library and Information Sciences, a Grade 1 Wisconsin Library Certificate, and are enthusiastic about library management, we encourage you to apply and help lead the Ripon Public Library into a promising future!

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master of Library and Information Sciences.
  • Certification: Eligible for a Grade 1 Wisconsin Library Certificate.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years in library management or a related field, including supervisory experience.

  • Financial management and budgeting
  • Strong communication and public relations skills
  • Strategic planning and policy development
  • Excellent customer service and library operations knowledge
  • Familiarity with technology and digital resources
  • Ability to build community relationships and handle fundraising initiatives

Salary: Starting salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 (depending on qualifications)
